Hotel a Lake Placid

“Staff was great. The place is a bit run down. Shampoo and body wash dispenser barely worked in the shower. Lots of rust on things x there was a piece of glass from the desk missing. Place needs to be renovated for sure. Could be an awesome place if they made some updates. The lady making breakfast was really working hard. Hats off to her.”

“Well appointed rooms with great linens and fantastic soaps and hair care products. A/C was aways cold , great shower water pressure. Staff went out of the way to make our 25th wedding anniversary a pleasurable quiet weekend. ”

“i had requested that I receive clean towels as well as emptying the garbages on day 2, of 4, & it was never done. The receptionist had requested this service & staff did not comply. As a result i requested a new room for the remaining 2 nights which they provided for me. They apologized, yet the service was lacking for a Hilton. The breakfast I would have expected some yogurt or fruit & this was not the case. Wawa was my morning choice even though "breakfast" was included. No thank you.”

“Breakfast delivered to our room, breakfast sandwich was excellent. Staff was nice and helpful making a tee time. The restaurant was disappointing, small portions, way overpriced. We had 2 very thin prime rib dinners, no drinks, 2 small pieces of hard carrot cake that must have been from the freezer section at a grocery store. With top it was $165.00”

“The window had wood blinds that were nice but!!!!!!, that let light in. No curtains to blacken the room. Street light pollution bled through. The staff are very nice . Difficulty sleeping”

“This was the dirtiest property i have stayed in for some time. Toilet seats and bowl were full of scat, fixtures were old dirty and most did not work.”

“The room was clean and fresh. There’s a small bar area with a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The bathroom had complimentary Dove brand pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand wash. Bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was plenty of storage in case you need it. There was a bar downstairs but we didn’t try it. We were late for breakfast and there wasn’t much left at 9:45 when we got there. They had a pancake machine that was pretty cool but...
